Darkish Horse Comics and Dogu Publishing right this moment revealed one other reissued, recolored restricted sequence celebrating the fortieth anniversary of Stan Sakai‘s ongoing journey epic, Usagi Yojimbo. Debuting in October, Area Usagi: White Star Rising is the second reissued sequence that includes Sakai’s authentic writing, drawing, and lettering, printed for the primary time in colour with work by colorist Emi Fujii. White Star Rising takes place instantly after Area Usagi: Dying and Honor, and follows Usagi Yojimbo’s descendent Miyamoto Usagi proceed to defend the Shirohoshi clan from their rivals, the Kajitori. On this arc, he meets colourful new characters just like the house pirate Rhogen and makes new enemies led by Empress Amateh.

Along with new major cowl artwork for every challenge, Area Usagi: White Star Rising #1-3 may even function variants by Peach Momoko. The Beat can solely reveal Momoko’s cowl for challenge #1, seen beneath.
