The live-action drama adaptation of Oshi no Ko, comprising of 8 episodes, will likely be launched worldwide completely on Prime Video on Nov 28, 2024.

This will likely be adopted by a live-action movie, which is a sequel to the drama, releasing in theatres on Dec 20, 2024.

The movie will likely be directed by Smith, recognized for his work on music movies for Ikimono Gakari, Ketsumeishi, Snow Man, and dramas resembling Inside Mari and I Need to Maintain Aono-kun so Badly I Might Die, together with Hana Matsumoto.

Ayako Kitagawa will function the scriptwriter.

Oshi no Ko is a Japanese manga sequence written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Younger Soar since April 2020, with its chapters collected in fourteen tankobon volumes as of April 2024.

An anime tv sequence adaptation, produced by Doga Kobo, a studio which was began by former Toei animation members, aired its first 11-episode season from April to June 2023. A second season is about to premiere in July 2024.
