The live-action drama adaptation of Oshi no Ko, comprising of 8 episodes, might be launched worldwide completely on Prime Video on Nov 28, 2024.

This might be adopted by a live-action movie, which is a sequel to the drama, releasing in theatres on Dec 20, 2024.

The movie might be directed by Smith, identified for his work on music movies for Ikimono Gakari, Ketsumeishi, Snow Man, and dramas similar to Inside Mari and I Wish to Maintain Aono-kun so Badly I May Die, together with Hana Matsumoto.

Oshi no Ko is a Japanese manga collection written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Younger Leap since April 2020, with its chapters collected in fourteen tankobon volumes as of April 2024.

An anime tv collection adaptation, produced by Doga Kobo, a studio which was began by former Toei animation members, aired its first 11-episode season from April to June 2023. A second season is ready to premiere in July 2024.
